30-year-old Karen coworker throws tantrum when manager 18-year-old employee go home early: 'She was acting like this is the biggest deal in the world'

Any employee who is only allowed to leave work early with managerial approval knows how great it is when that approval to dip out is granted. Yet somehow, there is always something or someone that gets in the way when those rare blissful moments do happen in the workplace.

Here, we have an entitled Karen coworker who was 12 years older than this Redditor and who had a completely different job in the kitchen where they worked. In fact, the Redditor points out that this Karen left early from work a few days prior, yet she had the audacity to throw a temper tantrum when their manager dismissed the Redditor from work ahead of schedule. This led to a snarky exchange between the Karen coworker and their manager, which could have very well ended up going even more poorly for her than what transpired.

If she brings it up with you tell her politely that's something she needs to discuss with her manager as you're not in charge of her schedule and just doing what you're told to do.
